Retail rhythm memos that media teams actually read

Retail rhythm memos are one-page briefs anchored on inventory milestones, weather notes, and local events. Media teams receive them weekly with a single column describing how in-store signage will shift. The memo does not replace tooling; it replaces ambiguous chat threads.
We encourage attaching a photo of the actual aisle when permissions allow. When not, written descriptions must name SKU categories rather than vague "seasonal aisle" language. Precision reduces the chance that paid social promises what shelves cannot fulfill.
The format struggles in franchise environments where owners ignore central memos. We coach escalation paths, but cannot force adoption inside independent operator networks.
