Continuity scorecards without vanity theater
By Sora Kwon
measurement · continuity · scorecards
Scorecards balloon when every channel demands representation. We cap learners at five metrics and require each metric to answer a continuity question, not a popularity contest. If a metric cannot explain how a message stays coherent across two channels, it is cut.
We pair each metric with a qualitative sniff test: read the actual creative side-by-side for the same audience slice. The exercise feels analog, yet it catches drift that dashboards smooth away. Teams photograph redacted examples for their archives, building a library of "almost aligned" moments.
Limitations remain. Qualitative sniff tests take time, and remote teams sometimes skip them when deadlines compress. We document that skip explicitly so leaders know where blind spots reopened.
